Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows

Since living in Arizona you have to live with sun screen or live in the dark if you don't want to have a high risk for skin cancer. The one thing I've always hated was feeling very greasy, which might be why I've been very bad with my use of sun screen. Once I started riding my bike to work I had to re-think my old ways and find a sun screen that I could use and would use.  I did a little research on my own and found that sun screen has vastly approved its formula for a non-greasy affect. Now my problem was finding one that wouldn't cause break outs or have that classic 1960's sun block smell.  While I was reading about the different types of sun screen and what they promised to do, I kept hearing about helioplex, being a new comer to sun screen for your face, I found out that it protects against UVA and UVB sun-rays.  If you know me and know me well, you will know that I am very protective of my skin and what chemicals go near my face. I am also for the fight against wrinkles. The best article I found and seemed to help me the most with my new quest for the perfect sun screen for my face was this:

Written by Charles M Booras M.D. even though this was written in 1998 I found it very helpful
in explaining the difference for the UVA and UVB sun-rays.  Unfortunately  helioplex wasn't on
the market just yet. The break down of helioplex is that is has ingredients in it that make the
sun screen last longer. But more importantly help the stop of wrinkles. After the daunting task
of finding a sun screen that I would use, I came across Neutrogena, I'm very picky about the
kinds of product I will put on my face and have in the past used Neutrogena and found to not
only like it but love some of their popular products. I found that they had a "Sport Face" sun
block with SPF 70+ I know that’s a little high but I'm already brown and don't really need to
tan my face or let it be to exposed to the sun. The first day I tried it I was hooked, and now I
also use it for a daily moisturizer on top of the added sun block protection. It leaves no grease
or shine, and also has no real fragrance. Over all I'm highly satisfied with this product and
highly recommend it to anyone that doesn't want to feel oily. Added bonus the cost was less
then $10 so you don't need to break the bank to get a great product.
